DOD – OSD: Mission Information Technology Support Services (MITSS)

Summary:

The OUSD(P) Enterprise Information Services (EIS) Directorate is tasked with providing all IT mission and mission application support services for OUSD(P). Mission IT support includes creating and operating Policy’s web sites, developing custom mission applications, helping Policy acquire commercially available IT capabilities, offering unique capabilities such as the Customer Engagement Managers (CEM) and Project Coordinators programs, and establishing and integrating a variety of networks and services within Policy. EIS plans and budgets for all main Policy IT programs and capabilities. The Contractor fulfillment requirements for the general technical elements and the tasks cited in this PWS shall be fulfilled in the OUSD(P) operational environment at the levels cited in the embedded environment document and this PWS.

Requirements:

4.1 Task 1 – Program Management: Monitor, report, staff, develop, and propose Mission Service Program Management for leadership and management of the contract and deliverables.

4.2 Task 2 – Mission Application Development and Sustainment: Analyze business requirements, document, develop, iterate sprints, upgrade, test, train, maintain, and troubleshoot Mission Applications for OUSD(P).

4.3 Task 3 – Mission Servers Operations and Sustainment/Infrastructure Team: The Contractor shall plan, manage, update, maintain, serve as technical expert, ensure adherence to security standards, and provide overall management for systems supporting mission development, test, and operation for OUSD(P).

4.4 Task 4 – Project Management: The Contractor shall plan, coordinate, manage, identify benefits, analyze business needs, serve as technical expert, ensure adherence to security standards, and provide lessons learned for enterprise project delivery and implementations for OUSD(P).

4.5 Task 5 – Customer Engagement Management: The Contractor shall interface with mission application developers, advocate for end users, prioritize information service delivery, analyze business requirements, develop proof of concept solutions, provide mission application training, and troubleshoot user environments related to mission applications execution through customer engagement management for OUSD(P).
